Tokarevskiy lighthouse, Vladivostok
Stately Tokarevskogo lighthouse, one of the oldest in the far East, was built in 1876. Its name is derived from the name of a promontory on the edge of which stands. To reach the lighthouse through a long sand spit that poured to connect the structure to the shore. Previously, this task was carried out by a wooden bridge, but over the years the sea has left him lonely just sticking out of the iron pile. One of the oldest lighthouses in Russia next year will be 300 years. It was built at the personal decree of Peter I on artificial mounds in the Gulf of Finland, near the island of Kotlin on which Kronstadt is located. To the massive tower adjacent to residential and technical buildings, reminiscent of a massive protective wall around the perimeter of the island, giving the lighthouse a lot of similarities with the famous Alcatraz prison. For a long time Tolbukhin was a temporary wooden building, but seniority was awarded a large-scale restoration.

One of the most unusual lighthouses in our country is located in Kaliningrad, he is now converted into a Museum, where interactive tours, and almost all equipment is in perfect working condition. Its peculiarity is that it is a floating light — ship “Berinsky” who had once worked at the shipyard Laivateollisuus in Finland.
